Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Staffing Assistant to join our team at Northwell Health. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling house call visits, maintaining related records, and preparing monthly reports on all House Call, Patient Service Center, Faculty Practice phlebotomy sites, and Nursing Home activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule house call visits, ensuring timely completion and accurate record-keeping.
  • Prepare test requisitions and assign swing phlebotomists as needed to ensure efficient operations.
  • Manage daily Escort Lists and ensure that patients have assigned escorts.
  • Assist in gathering and confirming hours and payroll preparation for employees covering House Call services, nursing homes, and draw sites.
  • Compile and analyze monthly reports on House Call, Patient Service Center, Faculty Practice, and Nursing Home activities.
  • Provide marketing feedback on client activities and service issues, and offer insights on prospective clients.
  • Enter actual staff on duty into the Res-Q actual staffing module and retrieve time and attendance reports as needed.
  • Record and report sick/absent calls to unit management staff and accurately enter patient census and nursing staffing guidelines.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience, required.

Additional Compensation Information

The salary range for this position is $22.30-$29.85/hour. Please note that salary ranges may be modified in the future and are subject to change. When determining a team member's base salary, several factors may be considered, including location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget, and internal equity.
