Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Claims Service Leader who will spearhead our Casualty Claims team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing direct reports, driving business growth, and implementing strategic initiatives that align with our company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Team Management: You will oversee a team of front-line exempt employees, providing guidance, coordinating division activities, and monitoring performance to ensure seamless operations.
  • Claim Process Expertise: With your extensive experience in casualty claims, you will educate and coach claim employees on various claim processes, ensuring they adhere to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Training and Development: You will design and deliver training presentations, seminars, and operational feedback sessions to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Action Plan Implementation: You will identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to optimize business results, drive process improvements, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Escalated Claims Management: You will work closely with the Law Department and cross-functional teams to manage complex claims, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing risk exposure.
  • Audit Review and Compliance: You will organize and support an effective audit review process, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ Years of Casualty Claim Handling Experience: We seek candidates with significant experience in handling complex casualty claims, preferably with litigation experience.
  • Leadership Experience: A proven track record of leadership and management experience is essential, with a focus on team development and coaching.
  • NV, WA, CA Claim Knowledge and Experience: Familiarity with local claim handling regulations and experience working in these jurisdictions is a plus.
  • PST or MST Schedule: Candidates with flexibility to work a Pacific or Mountain Standard Time schedule are preferred.
  • Business, Supervision, and Management Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship management skills are crucial for success in this role.
Compensation and Benefits
