Leisure Sales Director

We are seeking an experienced Leisure Sales Director to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth for our hotel and convention center at Rio Las Vegas Hotel & Casino.
About the RoleThis role requires a strategic thinker who can create effective selling strategies to capture maximum revenue and leverage market trends. You will work closely with executive leaders in sales to ensure guest satisfaction and deliver memorable experiences for all guest market segments.
Main Responsibilities- Create data-driven selling strategies to maximize revenue and stay ahead of market trends.
- Build strong relationships with vendors and customers through professional communication and timely issue resolution.
- Drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships and contract negotiations.
- Analyze inventory levels, forecast staffing needs, and align room promotions with events occurring in the casino, restaurants, and convention space.
- Identify and attract new customers to provide repeat business for the property.
- Provide competitive and noteworthy services and venue options in the market.
- Maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) such as average daily rate (ADR), revenue per available room (RevPAR), occupancy rates, and market share to identify trends and optimize revenue generation.
- Minimum four years' experience in sales, revenue management, and/or hotel operations.
- Minimum two years of progressive leadership experience.
- Strong organizational skills, solution-driven, and analytical thinking.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Strong computer proficiency; ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and applicable operational software.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- At least 21 years of age.
The estimated salary range for this position is $99,000 - $110,000 annually.
