Billing Operations Manager

The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Billing Supervisor to join our Office Accounting team in Century City. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Billing team, ensuring compliance with firm policies and procedures, and providing guidance and support to team members. Your exceptional communication and analytical skills will enable you to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the firm, driving inventory management and ensuring seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Accounting Manager or Billing Manager to evaluate departmental employee performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure departmental goals and objectives are met, delivering accurate and timely completion of assignments and inquiry responses.
- Coordinate and oversee the completion of annual and monthly activities, including quarterly inventory campaigns, year-end collections, inventory management, e-billing coordination, and other high-priority tasks.
- Participate in regular calls and conferences with partners and management to discuss financial inventory.
- Partner with billing attorneys, secretarial staff, and clients to review, prepare, finalize, and send invoices.
- Regularly review and analyze work-in-progress (WIP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) reports to effectively manage inventory and reduce billing and collection cycles.
- Work with the Accounting Manager to upskill the team, ensuring all members maintain relevant and up-to-date skills in line with industry standards and practices.
- Protect and maintain sensitive, confidential, and proprietary information.
- Possess excellent communication skills to ensure transparency and alignment with firm goals.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and team development skills, including organizing, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making, with the ability to mentor, train, and motivate team members.
- Exhibit the ability to lead and manage change initiatives, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Possess the ability to develop and implement change management strategies to maximize efficiency.
- Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges.
