Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Client Manager - Employee Benefits to join our team at Baldwin Risk Partners. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and exceptional service to our clients, advisors, and insurance company partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all policy activity and stewardship aspects in your book of business.
  • Analyze and report on relevant claims data for larger accounts, identifying trends and comparing client data to industry benchmarks.
  • Ensure client compliance with respect to benefits and serve as an informed resource on the impact of the Affordable Care Act.
  • Gather information to present to insurance company marketplaces for proposals, present options, and make recommendations.
  • Conduct effective enrollment meetings as needed, using prepared collateral materials.
  • Maintain a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and completion when interacting with clients, the firm, and insurance company partners, minimizing potential errors and omissions claims.
  • Manage some house accounts without assistance from leadership or an advisor.
  • Review existing accounts to determine if additional lines of insurance should be solicited or if changes need to be made throughout the year and at renewal.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with insurance company partners.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of insurance company partners and their website resources.
  • Present risks to the insurance marketplace for quoting, as needed.
  • Respond to phone calls and email requests for options and changes to existing coverage and/or new policies.
  • Meet with clients at the firm office or occasionally at their place of business.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the firm, business segment, and processes, bringing issues and discrepancies to the attention of appropriate leadership.
Requirements
  • Obtain and maintain state insurance licenses or other state insurance licenses, as required by the State Department of Insurance, to provide risk management consulting or risk transfer solutions in states where the firm operates.
  • 5+ years of insurance-related experience.
  • Demonstrated effective presentation skills through verbal and written communications.
  • Working knowledge of appropriate software.
  • Demonstrate the firm's core values, exuding behavior aligned with the corporate culture.

  • Some travel may be required.

The starting pay is $109,600.00 USD Annual, plus salary is negotiable upon time of offer.
