Commercial Solar Sales Representative

At Buffalo Solar, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced B2B Commercial Solar Sales Representative to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with a proven track record in sales, strong business acumen, and the ability to communicate technical information related to solar energy and electrical systems.

Job DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity to drive business growth by promoting solar energy solutions to commercial clients. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients, leveraging your network of business contacts. Additionally, you will identify and pursue new business opportunities, conduct site assessments, and work with technical teams to design tailored solar solutions.
You will present complex solar and electrical concepts to clients in a clear and compelling manner, provide detailed proposals, and collaborate with the project management team to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Conduct site assessments and work with technical teams to design tailored solar solutions
- Present and explain complex solar and electrical concepts to clients
- Provide clients with detailed proposals, including financial analysis and incentive options
- Collaborate with the project management team to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the solar or electrical industry
- A robust network of business contacts and the ability to leverage these relationships
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn and understand solar energy systems and electrical concepts
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Estimated annual salary: $70,000 - $90,000 based on experience and qualifications
