Workday/HRIS HR Specialist II

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday/HRIS HR Specialist II to join our team. As a key member of our Human Resources Department, you will provide HRIS transactional and configuration support in Workday, assist associates with inquiries, and support efforts around Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
Responsibilities- Assist with Workday configuration, questions, testing, upgrading, and maintenance
- Troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, and provide technical support on Workday-related issues
- Ensure Workday system accessibility and timely resolution of HRIS issues
- Evaluate solution effectiveness and make improvements to ensure systems meet the needs of the organization
- Provide all HR teams and end-users with Workday technical support, resolve technical issues, and configurations for Workday
- Coordinate with IT and other areas to ensure system accessibility and timely resolution of HRIS issues
- Process employees' queries and respond in a timely manner
- Support efforts around DEI, Associate Value Proposition, and culture
- Provide reporting, metrics, or presentations as assigned
- Assist with achieving department goals
- Answer associates' questions pending the area of focus for the position
- Identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities. Use effective approaches for choosing appropriate action or resolution
- Work on a variety of projects as assigned
- All other duties as assigned
- Thorough understanding of HR processes and policies
- Experience with Workday required
- Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience working in one or more HR disciplines
- Effective organizational and strong interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with an acute attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects
- Occasional travel required
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of experience required with Workday system configuration, administration, and maintenance in several of the following Workday modules: Core HCM, Compensation, Talent Management, Time Tracking, Benefits, Learning, and Recruiting
