Position Overview:

The Global Risk Intelligence Specialist will be tasked with monitoring global events in real-time and evaluating their potential or actual impact on personnel, assets, operations, and reputation for one of Pinkerton's major international clients.

This role involves providing timely and accurate notifications of threats to relevant stakeholders and producing detailed reports based on informed analysis and understanding of data.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Embody Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Utilize various internal and external resources to monitor global risks, including natural disasters, security threats, geopolitical events, and more.
  • Assess the scope of incidents and their potential effects on business operations.
  • Engage with client leadership and Global Security teams to exchange critical information.
  • Implement effective research methods to gather information on emerging threats and provide leadership with essential data for decision-making.
  • Support Global Security investigations and operations through information collection and analysis.
  • Maintain systems and data within the Global Security Information Center.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in international political science or a related field is preferred, along with at least one year of experience as an Intelligence Analyst in a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) environment.

Candidates should possess:

  • Knowledge of investigative processes, emergency response, security protocols, and geopolitical assessments.
  • Familiarity with GIS mapping systems and travel risk management.
  • Strong analytical skills to synthesize complex data from various sources into comprehensive reports.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and work collaboratively within diverse teams.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, and other relevant software.

Working Conditions:

This role requires the physical and mental capacity to perform essential functions, including occasional lifting and operating office equipment. Flexibility to work during various hours, including evenings and weekends, may be necessary, along with potential travel.


Compensation and Benefits:

The annual salary for this position is $43.27. Benefit options include employer-paid life insurance, medical and dental coverage, 401(K), paid time off, and various employee assistance programs.
