POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a Risk Manager to join our dynamic team.
This is a Full-Time position with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Compensation Range:
$100,000 - $130,000

Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to, the following:

Insurance Management: Overseeing the organization's insurance programs, which includes assessing insurance needs, coordinating the acquisition of insurance policies, and managing claims effectively.

Additionally, this role entails reviewing contracts and agreements to pinpoint and manage potential risks and liabilities.
Risk and Crisis Management: Formulating and executing risk mitigation strategies and action plans to reduce potential risks.

This may involve establishing policies, procedures, and controls, as well as offering guidance and training to staff for effective risk management.

Creating and implementing crisis management plans to address unforeseen events, such as natural disasters or cybersecurity incidents, is also essential. This requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and effective communication with stakeholders during crises.

Compliance: Ensuring adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including OSHA and Workers' Compensation. This involves conducting audits, monitoring compliance activities, and implementing corrective measures to address any compliance deficiencies.

Reporting & Analysis: Providing regular updates to senior management regarding the organization's risk profile, mitigation efforts, and compliance status.

Conducting data analysis and risk assessments to identify trends and areas for enhancement.
Continuous Improvement: Ongoing evaluation of the effectiveness of risk management strategies and making recommendations for enhancements. Staying informed about industry best practices and regulatory changes to adapt strategies accordingly.

Communication: Engaging with internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership and auditors, to ensure a comprehensive understanding of risks and management strategies.

Leadership & Team Management: Leading a team of risk management professionals, offering mentorship and support. Setting departmental goals, managing budgets, and overseeing daily operations of the risk management function.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in risk management, finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
A minimum of 7 years of experience in risk management, ideally in a leadership capacity.
A strong grasp of risk management principles and methodologies.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Familiarity with applicable laws and regulations related to risk management.

Professional certifications in risk management or related fields, such as Certified Risk Manager (CRM) or Certified Risk Professional (CRP), are advantageous.

Experience in property management is preferred.
Proficiency in relevant software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines consistently.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
