Leasing Director Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Leasing Director to join our team at Corcoran New Development. As a key member of our leasing team, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of daily leasing operations for our new development sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a leasing team consisting of 2-4 members
  • Respond to incoming daily inquiries and schedule property tours for interested prospects
  • Provide overviews for all general inquiries that come into the leasing office
  • Conduct property and residence tours, presenting compelling and personalized information to prospects
  • Follow up with prospects and their agents to ensure all leads are actively pursued
  • Develop and maintain property pricing grids and inventory
  • Assist with daily and weekly leasing traffic reports for the developer and Corcoran teams
  • Support leasing associates with rental terms and facilitate lease signings
  • Interact with Corcoran New Development management regarding customer and property feedback
  • Provide weekly overview reporting on the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns
  • Lead weekly marketing meetings with new development partners
  • Build relationships with local brokerage firms to increase outside brokerage activity
Requirements:
  • Valid NY Real Estate Salesperson or Associate Broker License required
  • 5 years of proven experience in Real Estate brokerage, preferably with a focus on new development marketing
  • 3 years of experience in leasing, preferably as a people manager
  • Strong customer service approach and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and be flexible in a fast-paced environment
  • Meticulous with excellent organization skills
  • Ability to succeed and collaborate in a team environment
