Position Overview

The Quality Assurance Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the excellence of products and processes. In alignment with established protocols, this professional oversees the integrity of the quality management system.

  • Familiarity with all PV-related certifications, including but not limited to; UL1703, IEC 61215, IEC61730-1, IEC
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing/JIT, Six Sigma methodologies, and Total Quality principles
  • Understanding of SPC/FMEA
  • Capability to interpret Blueprint/GD&T drawings
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools such as IMP, Minitab, etc.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, Physics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on experience with statistical software applications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Access
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a quality-focused role; education may substitute for experience.
  • Preferred: At least 3 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a high-volume, high-tech manufacturing setting.
  • Preferred: Experience in module manufacturing.
  • Preferred: Certified Quality Engineer accreditation.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with SharePoint, MRP, and/or ERP systems.
