About the Role:

VMD Corp is seeking a highly skilled Lead Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans, automated test cases, and scripts to ensure the quality of our software products.
  • Manage and lead a team of quality assurance engineers to ensure the successful delivery of our software products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and project management, to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure the successful delivery of our software products.
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our testing processes.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on software testing and test automation.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing teams to deliver high-quality software products.
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium and Cucumber.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks to ensure the successful delivery of our software products.

Desired Qualifications:

  • DHS 508 Trusted Tester Certification.
  • Quality Assurance Institute (QAI) Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE) certification.
  • Additional Agile certifications, such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Agilist, SAFe Practice Consultant, or SAFe Practitioner.
