Maintenance Coordinator

The Maintenance Planner will provide office administration, facilities, and maintenance support to company-managed buildings. This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze work orders to determine the most efficient and effective way to complete tasks, ensuring timely completion and minimizing downtime.
- Coordinate with maintenance technicians to stage materials, permits, subcontractors, tools, and other resources needed to accomplish work.
- Develop and maintain workflow processes to ensure seamless execution of work orders.
- Work closely with various teams to optimize planned and scheduled work, scheduled but not planned work, and unscheduled work.
- Provide regular statistical reporting to management and clients, showcasing quantifiable evidence of productive workforce utilization.
- Develop, implement, and lead preventive maintenance and life cycle optimization strategies, adhering to established guidelines.
- Perform annual reviews of preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure accurate frequencies and balanced 12-month schedules.
- Determine appropriate predictive maintenance tasks, train technicians, analyze data, and initiate corrective actions as needed.
- May provide informal assistance, such as technical guidance and training, to coworkers.
- May coordinate work and assign tasks.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; minimum of four years of related experience and/or training.
- Valid driver's license if driving is required in conjunction with job duties; Facility Management and CFC certification desired.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, coworkers, and/or supervisor.
- Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles; ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.
- Ability to understand and solve problems in standard situations; requires basic analytical skills.
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and intranet/internet; ability to use work order system.
