Job Title: Project Engineer

Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team at Aerotek. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all document control and distribution processes and systems for the Planning, Design & Construction (PD&C) Department.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and manage document control and distribution processes and systems.
  • Meet regularly with contractors, architects, and internal staff to track the status of construction projects.
  • Prepare meeting agendas and distribute minutes summarizing matters discussed and actions approved.
  • Scan, distribute, and file documents, including project designs, drawings, specifications, estimates, and correspondence.
  • Verify and correct project-related documentation as needed.
  • Maintain effective and ongoing communications with construction and contractor management teams.
  • Provide initial review of pay applications, change orders, and other incoming construction documents.

Requirements:
  • Change order management
  • Tenant improvement experience
  • Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems

Work Environment:

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Menlo Park, California and some days remote.


Working in an offsite facility based in Menlo Park, but associated with the main hospital. In this department, there is an EH&S group, facilities, maintenance, and construction. The business unit is called Site Support Services and they are responsible for overseeing all offsite clinics for Stanford Health Care.
