Client: Hospitality Sector Organization
Role: Lead Accountant
Salary: $80,000 - $85,000/annually + Benefits

Location: Union Square, NY - *5 days a week onsite*

Job Overview:
  • Conduct supplier statement verification and manage supplier payment processes using M3 (accounting software).
  • Perform weekly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Provide remittance advice to vendors as needed.
  • Export invoices from the purchasing system on a daily basis.
  • Create and distribute manual invoices when required.
  • Oversee and process commission payments.
  • Handle intercompany billing transactions.
  • Maintain aging levels in accordance with company policy.
  • Assist the Stock Controller with billing and reconciliation tasks.
  • Conduct weekly reconciliations of bank accounts.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable and Guest ledgers, fostering strong interdepartmental relationships and communication.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reviews on relevant accounts.
  • Provide coverage for other departmental roles on an as-needed basis, such as Income Audit.
