The Pipeline Operations Specialist is responsible for the effective management and upkeep of pipeline systems. This role encompasses a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the safety and reliability of operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance: Responsible for the operation, servicing, and thorough cleaning of company vehicles and equipment.
  • Field Support: Assist field technicians with essential tasks such as pigging and maintenance of line markers.
  • Work Environment: This position may involve exposure to diverse conditions, including extreme weather, confined spaces, and elevated noise levels.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance on pipelines and compressor stations, along with other duties as assigned.
  • Facility Integrity: Ensure the reliability and integrity of facilities within the assigned mini district, including corrosion control and right-of-way upkeep.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with technical services, government entities, emergency planning teams, landowners, and contractors.
  • Public Engagement: Participate in community outreach activities, including presentations and meetings.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain various equipment such as sandblasters, skid steers, and pumps.
  • Gas Handling: Perform pipeline isolations and manage gas handling duties, including the operation of air movers and blow down silencers.
  • Calibration and Proving: Execute batch changes, meter proving, and calibration tasks.
Qualifications:
  • Physical capability to frequently bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs, with the ability to manually transport loads up to 75 lbs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of working independently within a team framework.
  • Willingness to travel as required by work situations.
