About the Role

The Production Test Engineer II is a critical member of our manufacturing team, responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. As a key player in the test process, you will validate and verify compliance with technical data package requirements and supporting test equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and provide accurate rework instructions for product hardware.
  • Develop and maintain spares and test equipment obsolescence plans.
  • Create Basis of Estimates (BOE) to estimate costs for additional capacity, new capabilities, and equipment obsolescence.
  • Lead projects to reduce test time and improve the test process through analysis of predictive metrics, trends, failure modes, and test yields.
  • Develop test flows and contribute to test capacity analysis.
  • Maintain changes to the test equipment technical data package, including drawings, test instructions, test position manuals, and system software.
  • Assist in non-routine fault isolation, diagnosis, and repair of the product or test equipment.
  • Lead root cause and corrective action investigations and present findings, utilizing fault trees and knowledge point plans.
  • Perform risk assessments and support the program's risk register reviews.
  • Lead projects and be responsible for execution.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with emphasis in testing or manufacturing engineering.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF) clearance.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
