The Technical Services Coordinator - Biomedical Equipment Specialist is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the biomedical and field service technicians assigned to a designated location. This role ensures that medical equipment at the office and customer locations is timely and cost-effectively inspected, repaired, and maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the activities of biomedical and field service technicians to ensure efficient and effective equipment maintenance and repair.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve technical services revenue and customer satisfaction.
- Manage equipment records, including maintenance and repair history, to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues and improve overall equipment performance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory requirements, and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as biomedical engineering or healthcare management.
- At least 2 years of experience in a technical services or biomedical equipment maintenance role.
- Strong knowledge of medical equipment, including preventive maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
