Communicative Disorders Specialist

As part of Unity Health Toronto's commitment to excellence in healthcare, we are hiring a highly skilled Communicative Disorders Specialist.
This opportunity lies within our dynamic Outpatient Stroke & Neuro Program, where you will be instrumental in providing assessment and management services for adults dealing with swallowing and communication challenges.
About the Position:- Develop and implement effective strategies for managing swallowing and communication disorders
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across disciplines to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Continuously expand your knowledge through ongoing education and professional development
- Enhance patient and family education, ensuring they feel empowered to manage their conditions
- Valid CASLPO certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Completion of a Master's program in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent)
- Active BLS certification (or willingness to acquire within the probationary period)
- Desired attributes include expertise with videofluoroscopy and MBSImp certification, as well as proficiency in critical thinking, empathy, and teamwork
The estimated annual compensation for this specialist role ranges from $110,000 to $140,000, contingent upon your level of experience and credentials.
