Communication Disorder Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist Level II to join our team at Kaiser Permanente in San Jose, California. As a key member of our therapy services team, you will be responsible for providing diagnosis and treatment of communication disorders for more complex cases.
Estimated Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per year.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and a minimum of two years of experience as a Speech Therapist. They will also possess a Speech-Language Pathologist License (California) and a Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a Labor/Management Partnership environment. They will also be knowledgeable about federal, state, and local requirements related to speech therapy services.
- Evaluates and administers diagnostic tests to adults and children with various communication disorders.
- Provides individualized treatment plans and advises physicians on test results.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Develops and maintains department policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
