Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Communication Disorders Professional to join our team at the Health Plan of San Mateo. In this role, you will work as a Speech and Language Pathologist, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing recommendations for youth with communicative disorders.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments, including screening and testing, to identify communicative and speech disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized speech and language plans, prioritizing effective communication systems.
  • Work collaboratively with school staff, families, and outside agencies to ensure IEP goals and objectives are met.

You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, preparing comprehensive reports, and facilitating case conferences or MDT/IDT meetings as needed.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in speech and language pathology, current, unrestricted SLP licensure in California.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with youth and families, preferably in a multidisciplinary setting.
  • Medi-Cal Credentialed or eligible for enrollment, bilingual skills highly valued.

The estimated salary range for this position is $50,000-$65,000 per year, based on experience.
