Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist II to join our team at Alameda Health System. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients with speech and language disorders.

Your primary duties will include evaluating patients' communicative abilities, conducting diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans tailored to their specific needs. You will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Responsibilities and Duties
  1. Evaluate patients' speech and language functions through various diagnostic tests and assessments
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific communication needs
  3. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  4. Participate in inter-disciplinary staff meetings to discuss patient progress and develop treatment strategies
Requirements and Qualifications

A Master's Degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution is required for this position. You should also hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology from ASHA and a license to practice Speech Pathology in California.
