Position Overview

The Front Desk Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the Front Office operations, ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service throughout their stay. This position requires a commitment to quality service while optimizing room revenue and occupancy rates.

Key Responsibilities

The Front Desk Manager is expected to:

  • Lead and manage a team of Front Desk associates, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of service.
  • Address guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Conduct training sessions and performance evaluations for Front Desk staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Analyze daily occupancy and revenue reports to make informed decisions that enhance profitability.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures, ensuring all operations align with brand standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Oversee the management of reservations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company protocols.
  • Implement effective cash handling procedures and ensure financial transactions are processed accurately.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in hotel management or a related field.
  • Strong supervisory skills with a proven track record of leading teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and hotel management software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain composure in challenging situations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly.
