Cincinnati, Ohio, United States Fairbanks Morse Engine Full time

Job Title:
Senior Human Resources Specialist

About Fairbanks Morse Defense & Federal Equipment Company

Fairbanks Morse Defense (FMD) is a prominent manufacturer, assembler, tester, and service provider of essential products for Naval Applications, including but not limited to reciprocating engines, motors, motor controllers, valves, actuators, water purification systems, davits, elevators, and deck machinery.

As a subsidiary of Arcline Investment Management, FMD stands out as a leading supplier of dependable marine power solutions.

Federal Equipment Company (FEC), established in Ohio in 1982, was founded by a group of seasoned shipboard equipment engineers and specialists in niche material handling equipment.

By collaborating closely with various domestic shipyards on diverse projects, the company has experienced significant growth, benefiting from extensive machining capabilities located in the Ohio Valley Area.

In late 1999, Federal Equipment Company enhanced its engineering expertise by designing innovative dumbwaiter systems for the Navy and retractable helicopter hangar systems for the US Coast Guard.

Utilizing cutting-edge computer-aided design technology and simulation tools, FEC has expanded its capabilities into additional shipboard systems and other commercial markets.

In 2006, Federal Equipment partnered with US Drill Head Company, relocating its corporate headquarters to a spacious facility along the Ohio River.

To further enhance its engineering and manufacturing capacity, FEC joined forces with TKF Conveyor Systems in 2011, adding significant fabrication space and equipment.

With this increased capacity, Federal Equipment Company is well-positioned to continue its growth in the Government Shipboard Equipment Market.
