  • Perform all duties in accordance with company safety and environmental policies.
  • Read delivery tickets or purchase orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Conduct analysis of incoming bulk materials according to procedures and notify supervisors of any variances from specifications.
  • Operate a lift truck and maintain a daily checklist.
  • Unload cargo tanks of chemicals, lubricants, or fuels into correct bulk storage tanks.
  • Maintain storage tanks and shipping containers.
  • Load cargo tanks with bulk chemicals, lubricants, or fuels from storage.
  • Load drums, tote tanks, and other containers onto trucks.
  • Repackage bulk products into drums, pails, and/or totes according to repackaging agreements.
  • Convey materials and items from receiving areas to storage or to other designated areas.
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences.
  • Mark materials and containers with identifying information according to company and regulatory requirements.
  • Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
  • Control and maintain inventory records.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace according to company standards.
  • Report accidents and/or incidents to supervisors.
  • Participate in ongoing safety programs, including safety meetings and training.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with one to three months of related experience and/or training.
