Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sprinkler System Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and repair of sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive service calls from our Service Resource Center and respond to customer inquiries to diagnose equipment/system malfunctions.
  • Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software, and operational product manuals to ensure accurate diagnoses and repairs.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, with a strong focus on organizational abilities, positive attitude, and adaptability.
  • Work independently and follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures to diagnose and repair equipment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the Fire Sprinkler industry, with a proven track record of service and repair of sprinkler and suppression systems.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in computer and phone skills, including Microsoft Office and mobile apps.
  • Ability to perform service work on all water-based fire protection systems.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and overtime to meet customer requirements.
  • Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company requirements.
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.

Preferred Qualifications

  • NICET certification.
  • Backflow certification.
  • Fire pump experience.
