Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Sprinkler Service Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and repair of sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive service calls from our Service Resource Center and respond to customer inquiries to diagnose equipment/system malfunctions.
- Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software, and operational product manuals.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, with strong organizational abilities and a positive attitude.
- Work independently and follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures to diagnose and repair equipment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the Fire Sprinkler industry, with a focus on service and repair of sprinkler and suppression systems.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in computer and phone skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and mobile apps.
- Ability to perform service work on all water-based fire protection systems.
- Flexibility to work weekends and overtime to meet customer requirements.
- Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company requirements.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
Preferred Qualifications
- NICET certification.
- Backflow certification.
- Fire pump experience.
