TSCM Security Specialist

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled TSCM Security Specialist to provide support in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with DoD 8570 Information Assurance Training (IAT) II requirements and maintain up-to-date knowledge of cyber security best practices.
  • Participate in equipment-specific and cyber security training to stay current with emerging threats and technologies.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of TSCM and CI policy, ensuring seamless integration with organizational objectives.
  • Implement and maintain a comprehensive TSCM training plan, ensuring all stakeholders are adequately trained and equipped to meet security standards.
  • Provide expert recommendations for NGA facilities, focusing on cost-effective solutions that enhance security and efficiency.
  • Analyze complex security issues, identifying areas for improvement and developing actionable plans to mitigate risks.
  • Ensure compliance with Physical Security Standards, conducting regular assessments and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Conduct thorough security assessments, identifying deficiencies and developing targeted solutions to enhance overall security posture.
  • Coordinate TSCM operations and resources, ensuring seamless execution and effective utilization of personnel and equipment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement financial budgets and technical requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Prepare and disseminate comprehensive reports and correspondence, providing stakeholders with actionable insights and recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance, with a strong track record of maintaining sensitive information.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in CI, with a minimum of 3 years in TSCM, demonstrating a deep understanding of security principles and practices.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a strong foundation in security protocols and procedures.
  • ITC TSCM Certification and ongoing training, ensuring expertise in TSCM principles and best practices.
  • TSCM Cyber certification, demonstrating a high level of proficiency in cyber security and threat mitigation.
  • A+, Network+, and Sec+ Certifications, showcasing a broad range of technical skills and expertise.
  • Telephone security experience, with a strong understanding of secure communication protocols and procedures.
  • Credentialed graduate of a federal or DoD CI training academy, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Preferred:

  • Post-graduate degree in a related field, further enhancing technical expertise and knowledge.
