About the Role

Sunrise Services, a leading provider of geriatric care, is seeking an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) to join our team in a dynamic and supportive environment. As an ARNP, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality care to our clients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat a range of health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical and mental health needs, including psychiatric evaluations and medication management.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, working closely with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Prescribe and administer medications, as well as provide education and support to clients and their families on medication management and side effects.
  • Provide short-term psychotherapy and counseling services to clients, addressing a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement policies and procedures related to medication management, client care, and staff training.
  • Participate in daily staff meetings and treatment planning review meetings to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
Requirements
  • Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) licensure with prescriptive authority in the State of Washington.
  • Current Washington State driver's license and DEA number.
  • DSHS background clearance and liability insurance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment in challenging situations, including behavioral and staffing issues.
  • Experience in a mental health setting, with a demonstrated ability to relate effectively with people of varied backgrounds.
