Job Summary

The Principal Technical Program Manager role at GE HealthCare focuses on leading the development of key components and business capabilities leveraging digital and AI technologies. This role ensures the successful end-to-end delivery and provides visibility to leadership on the team's ability to achieve service, quality, and timeliness of service offerings. High levels of operational judgment are required to achieve outcomes required.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development of key components and business capabilities leveraging digital and AI technologies
Ensure successful end-to-end delivery and provide visibility to leadership on the team's ability to achieve service, quality, and timeliness of service offerings
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product designers, data scientists, service engineering, and field services
Develop and implement project management plans, including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and communication
Mentor and coach team members to develop their skills and abilities
Drive process improvements and system enhancements to achieve business objectives

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer software or related field, or demonstrated technological fluency in software engineering, machine learning, and generative AI
8+ years of program management experience, including successfully leading a program core team to deliver a product into the market
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to influence at all levels in the organization
Experience in interfacing and planning work with cross-functional teams
Thorough understanding and exposure to projects executed in agile methodology
Demonstrated project management skills, including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and communication
Demonstrated mentoring and coaching abilities, demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire others
Demonstrated capabilities at leading a team to meet project goals while satisfying quality, performance, schedule, and budget CTQ's
Demonstrated engineering knowledge, program management, and business planning processes, having experience with the full product lifecycle
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving process improvements and system enhancements

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent communication, influencing skills, and ability to gain buy-in for initiatives
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Proven Lean skills with strong working knowledge of lean concepts and methodology
Demonstrated people management skills
Demonstrated ability to deliver results while working on multiple projects simultaneously, balancing resources, timing, and quality of outcomes
Familiarity with ISO, FDA, and other regulatory standards
Demonstrated ability to excel in a global matrix organization
Experience with GE Phase Review Discipline, Software Development Lifecycle, and Change Control processes
Quality Management System (QMS) and Design Controls process knowledge
Understand the 21 CFR Part 11 regulations as they apply to Computer systems validation from a packaged application perspective
