Job Overview

Fromagex Inc. is seeking a skilled Technical Project Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our project implementation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful deployment of our equipment at customer sites.

Main Responsibilities
  • Start-up and maintenance: Manage equipment start-up, resolve issues to meet performance commitments, and handle production follow-up and problem resolution.
  • Provide service proposals based on equipment requirements, prepare orders, and assemble components and parts.
  • Provide Service on request: site surveys, PI&D implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Spare Parts Service
  • Coordinate and adapt the product for the North America market with the product manager.
  • Provide support for equipment homologation with the relevant authorities.
  • Select upstream part components for manufacturing equipment.
  • Manage spare parts requests: selection, procurement, and stock control before shipment to the customer.
Requirements
  • Degree or technical certification.
  • Significant experience in electromechanics and pneumatics.
  • Basic principle of automation.
  • Fluent English, French, and Spanish (a plus).
  • Proven Field Service experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and maintain technical equipment.
  • Proficiency in Autocad, Solidworks, or other technical drawing software.
  • Experience in the food industry, cheese industry (a plus).
  • Ability to work independently and take measured initiative.
  • Ability to support a remote team.
  • Ability to travel from time to time (USA, CANADA, or EUROPE).
