SDS2 / ALLPLAN is a leading provider of Building Information Modeling (BIM) software tailored for the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) sector. We are in search of a Product Owner who will play a crucial role in the advancement and refinement of our software offerings designed specifically for steel detailers and fabricators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and oversee the product roadmap and backlog for engineering analysis and structural workflows, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and client requirements.
- Identify and prioritize product themes while collaborating on strategic initiatives informed by customer insights, market trends, and analytical data.
- Engage closely with designers, developers, and other key stakeholders to guarantee that product specifications are clearly articulated and comprehended.
- Ensure that the digital experience is intuitive, accessible, and adheres to industry standards and regulations.
- Serve as the primary liaison for stakeholders, providing updates, progress reports, and addressing challenges in a clear and concise manner.
Qualifications:
- A strong understanding of steel detailing and fabrication standards, enabling effective communication with development teams and the ability to recommend best practices for our clients.
- Proven expertise in product management, particularly within agile frameworks and scrum methodologies, with a demonstrated ability to lead a motivated team.
- A commitment to driving continuous product enhancements and delivering outcomes that surpass client expectations.
- Ability to represent the industry as a representative of SDS2 / ALLPLAN.
- Proficient in gathering and analyzing market data (users, prospects, competitors) to inform product planning.
- Collaborate across the organization to craft clear and compelling value propositions at the onset of the development cycle.
- Capable of defining user personas and collaborating with UX and Development teams to conduct technology assessments and establish direction.
- Experience in building and managing the product backlog with a cross-functional team.
