About the Role:

This Business Relationship Manager Professional plays a critical liaison role with customers throughout the onboarding process of new banking relationships. Working in close partnership with the business unit and other departments, the ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of required processes and requirements to provide an exceptional customer experience.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Partnering with the Relationship Team to obtain and review information required for underwriting, documentation, and closing of C&I, construction, and term loans, as well as all deposit accounts and other services.
  • Setting up, processing, and monitoring documents and files for package completion to meet specifications of a customer request and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Independently preparing data input sheets and providing required information for customer relationships to be boarded on the bank's servicing system(s).
  • Maintaining files with all required documentation for third-party review and prepares files for timely audits.
  • Working with attorneys and other financial or legal resources to obtain the correct, accurate documents to fully protect the financial institution's interests in the credit relationship.
  • Setting up and monitoring loan and financial ticklers to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • FOLLOWING UP with customers to obtain all necessary information.
  • Reviewing and resolving a variety of customer problems/issues regarding bank products and services and facilitating processing of customer account maintenance and advance requests.
  • Responsible for GL Certification which includes research, balancing, and certification.
  • Analyzing property and liability insurance, title policy including title exceptions and UCC searches to ensure compliance with bank policy and procedure.
  • Demonstrating compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities - knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training.
  • Keeping up to date on regulation changes.
  • FOLLOWING all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security, and other regulations as applicable to this job description.
  • May be asked to Coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.

About You:

The ideal candidate will possess a H.S. Diploma/GED, a Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, or a related discipline, and 4-7 years of experience in banking, loan administration, and documentation. The candidate will have a strong knowledge in all areas of banking and lending, ability to read and write, and advanced arithmetic skills. The ideal candidate will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, working knowledge of commercial finance, law, documentation, accounting, and data systems. Additionally, the candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, with an interest in learning to present information to others and/or train others. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage internal and external customer relationships. The candidate will also have proficiency with personal computers and related software packages such as Word and Excel, and other business machines.

Work Style:

This role is a fully onsite position.

The estimated salary range for this role is $23.00-$28.00, and the selected candidate's pay rate will be dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation.
