Job Overview

Position Title: Program Management Communication Coordinator

Work Arrangement: This role operates on a hybrid model, combining remote work with in-office responsibilities. The ideal candidate should reside within a reasonable commuting distance of an Elevance Health office location.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the main contact point between National Government Services, Inc. (NGS) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Analyze and disseminate communications from CMS effectively. Manage the Contract Performance Evaluation (CPE) process and inform NGS departments about government audits and reviews. Coordinate internal notifications and CMS site visit arrangements. Assist designated contracts in monitoring the timely submission of CMS deliverables. Handle inquiries from CMS and other governmental bodies, ensuring prompt and accurate responses. Facilitate inquiries from NGS to CMS, including clarifications on program instructions. Track the successful completion of contract deliverables. Maintain internal contact lists for PMO-related communications. Ensure all reporting is completed to meet performance standards set by CMS and PMO management. Oversee document control procedures, including the development and annual review of SOPs for critical functions. Participate in special projects that support the NGS Program Management Office.

Qualifications:

A BA/BS in a relevant field with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Medicare, including at least 2 years in a communications role; or a combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background. Candidates must meet residency requirements as outlined by CMS TDL 190275.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Strong knowledge of Medicare operations is highly desirable. Experience in evaluating information and requests for appropriate responses is preferred. Proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of leadership is advantageous. Familiarity with Joint Operating Agreements (JOA) is a plus. Independent work capability with strong problem-solving skills is preferred.
