Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Project Coordinator at Interior Alaska Roofing, Inc.
Job Summary:
The Project Coordinator will assist the Project Manager and Construction Management team in various job-related activities, including data recording and analysis, document submission, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager and Construction Management team in job-related activities
- Record and analyze data
- Submit documents and file appropriately
- Receive and report inventory
- Expedite important documents and/or materials
- Familiarize with plans and shop drawings
- Organize and maintain office and files
- Assist in performing daily/general duties
- Receive and forward mail
- Email correspondence
- Maintain general office cleanliness
- Answer and forward appropriate calls
- Follow company procedures and processes
- Attend subcontractor meetings
- Provide on-site and off-site administrative support activities
- Ensure SLO (Service Level Objectives) are met and projects are moving through in a timely manner
- Assist PM's with scheduling and notifying all required personnel of deadlines
- Track projects through communicating clearly and effectively with coworkers, supervisors, on project status and development
- Promote safety onsite and offsite
- Being able to interpret terms of contracts, scopes of work, plans & shop drawings
- Track materials and shipping
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree in Construction Management, Project Management or a related field is a bonus, but not required
- Basic knowledge in residential and/or commercial construction
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and after hire random drug tests
- Willing to train the right applicant with little to no experience
