Job Summary

The Technology Project Manager II is a key role in the Anchorage School District, responsible for leading teams through the implementation of technology, business, and academic projects. This position requires a strong background in project management, with a focus on technology and education.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from initiation to close.
  2. Analyze business needs and develop project plans to achieve expected outcomes.
  3. Develop project charters outlining scope, objectives, stakeholders, requirements, risks, schedule, budget, and project authorization.
  4. Monitor and control project scope, schedule, risks, resources, quality, and customer satisfaction throughout the project life cycle.
  5. Coordinate project activities and communicate with project team and stakeholders.

Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in project management or business administration.
  2. Minimum of 4 years of project management experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  1. Current Project Management Institute certification and/or Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
  2. Knowledge of the Project Management Institute's project management life cycle.
  3. Experience working with an educational institution.
  4. Minimum of 2 years of information technology experience.
