About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Representative to join our team at Four Seasons Hotel Miami. As a key member of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience from check-in to check-out.

Responsibilities:

  • Check in guests in a friendly and efficient manner, using guest names whenever possible, and ensure that they are assigned the type of room requested and the correct rate is charged.
  • Check out guests at the end of their stay, ascertain their satisfaction, collect keys, post late charges, and present bills to guests.
  • Maintain a balanced bank assigned by the hotel, make change, cash checks, exchange foreign currency, and reconcile all transactions at the close of each shift.
  • Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible, resolving customer complaints, and assisting customers with inquiries related to hotel services, hours of operation, key personnel, in-house events, and directions.
  • Utilize various computer systems to check guests in and out, run daily reports, and select and block rooms for arriving guests.
  • Comply with Four Seasons' Work Rules and Standards of Conduct.
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
  • Accept reservations, changes, and cancellations in the absence of Reservations Department staff, and answer guest calls and direct them appropriately in the absence of a Communications Operator.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of hotel experience in a luxury hotel.
  • Written, spoken, and reading proficiency in the English language.
  • Fluency in a language other than English is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work all shifts, including AM, PM, weekends, and holidays.
  • Computer knowledge.
  • Knowledge of Miami areas.
