Theatre Operations Manager Job Description

As a representative of Coming Attractions Theatres, Inc., management must be knowledgeable of company policy and procedure and be able to implement these effectively. Management must maintain positive customer and staff relations. Assistant Managers report to the General Manager of the theatre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintains high level of customer satisfaction to meet Coming Attractions Theatres standards.
  • Responsible for every aspect of theatre operations, including digital projection, concessions, maintenance, box office, and more.
  • Ability and willingness to perform all floor staff and janitorial duties.
  • Maintains facilities that are clean, safe, and in good repair.
  • Perform daily opening and closing operational duties.
  • Makes accurate bank deposits and is responsible for petty cash.
  • Responsible for complete and accurate box office reports.
  • Makes accurate and detailed incident/accident reports as necessary.
  • Supervises all floor staff and janitors.
  • Directing and maintaining building security.
  • Directing disciplinary procedures.
  • Clearly interfaces with Home Office in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for other duties as assigned by General Manager.

Requirements:
  • Availability to work evening hours, weekends, and holidays.
  • Regular and consistent attendance.
  • Ability to actively listen and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as operating and maintenance instructions.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to perform math calculations with speed and accuracy.
  • Ability to train others.
  • Ability to obtain a food handlers permit.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
