About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technician to join our team at HCA Florida Largo Hospital. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for performing emergency procedures associated with catheterization procedures, including IAB and temporary pacer insertion.

You will demonstrate responsibility and accountability in recognizing and identifying potential and actual patient problems, collecting accurate data, and participating in the patient's Place of Care in accordance with the department/unit's standards.

You will prioritize resources to patient care and diagnostic activities based on accurate patient information and staff capabilities.

You will demonstrate knowledge of cardiac A & P, with specific conditions, diseases (CAD), and treatment therapies for the specific patient populations of the Department.

You will assist in data collection related to cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, renal, and peripheral vascular status. You will also document findings and report abnormal or out-of-range results to the physician.

Requirements
  • LPN with one year of experience and Critical Care course within one year of hire or one year Cath Lab experience or one year RCIS or CVT or Graduate of accredited RCVT program
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician, or Emergency Medical Paramedic (EMP), or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date
