Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technician to join our team at HCA Florida Largo Hospital. As a Cardiovascular Technician, you will be responsible for performing emergency procedures associated with catheterization procedures, including IAB and temporary pacer insertion. You will also assist in data collection related to cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, renal, and peripheral vascular status.

Responsibilities
  • Perform emergency procedures associated with catheterization procedures, including IAB and temporary pacer insertion.
  • Assist in data collection related to cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, renal, and peripheral vascular status.
  • Document findings and report abnormal or out-of-range results to physicians.
  • Prioritize resources to patient care and diagnostic activities based on accurate patient information and staff capabilities.
Requirements
  • LPN with one year of experience in Critical Care or one year of Cath Lab experience or one year of RCIS or CVT or Graduate of accredited RCVT program.
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician, or Emergency Medical Paramedic (EMP), or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date.
