Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technician to join our team at HCA Florida Largo Hospital. As a Cardiovascular Technician, you will be responsible for performing emergency procedures associated with catheterization procedures, including IAB and temporary pacer insertion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recognize and identify potential and actual patient problems, collecting accurate data and participating in the patient's Place of Care in accordance with the department/unit's standards.
  • Prioritize resources to patient care and diagnostic activities based on accurate patient information and staff capabilities.
  • Assist in data collection related to cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, renal, and peripheral vascular status.
  • Document findings and report abnormal or out-of-range results to physicians.
Requirements
  • LPN one year experience with Critical Care course within one year of hire or one year Cath Lab experience or one year RCIS or CVT or Graduate of accredited RCVT program.
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician, or Emergency Medical Paramedic (EMP), or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date.
