Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technician to join our team at HCA Florida Largo Hospital. As a Cardiovascular Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting with cardiac catheterization, vascular diagnostic, and interventional procedures. You will also perform emergency procedures associated with catheterization, including IAB and temporary pacer insertion. You will work under the direction of a credentialed invasive cardiologist or radiologist, utilizing your knowledge and expertise to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in cardiac catheterization, vascular diagnostic, and interventional procedures
  • Perform emergency procedures associated with catheterization, including IAB and temporary pacer insertion
  • Collect accurate data and participate in patient care in accordance with departmental standards
  • Prioritize resources to patient care and diagnostic activities based on accurate patient information and staff capabilities
  • Document findings and report abnormal or out-of-range results to physicians
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • LPN with one year of critical care experience or one year of cath lab experience or one year of RCIS or CVT or graduate of accredited RCVT program
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
