Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Transportation Manager to join our team at NFI Industries. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing our dedicated fleet of transportation operations and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Oversee and lead Transportation Managers and Operations Managers in the day-to-day operations of facilities and subordinate staff.
    • Ensure the safe, clean, and efficient operation of the work area to meet service standards.
  • Customer Service
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
    • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage multiple facility P&L and budget preparation.
    • Ensure audits of all billing activity for accuracy.
  • Employee Relations
    • Communicate service issues, upcoming workload, and any other pertinent company information to appropriate personnel and customers.
    • Assure proper staffing and support hiring initiatives.
  • Safety and Security
    • Ensure the safe operation of the work area to meet service standards.
    • Actively support and participate in all safety initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7+ years' overall experience in supply chain.
  • Experience with applications such as TMW is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Working knowledge of transportation/mechanical equipment.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT, FDA regulations and the willingness to become certified in one or more of these areas as necessary.
  • Excellent talent management skills.
  • Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills specifically with external clients.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
