Restaurant Manager Job Summary

As a Restaurant Manager at Compass Group, North America, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring that our team members uphold the highest standards of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain positive guest relationships through regular feedback and execution of show-quality standards
  • Train and convey brand clarity through menu, wine, and beverage knowledge
  • Promote a positive work environment through hiring, team member engagement, and maintaining appropriate staffing levels
  • Maintain state, federal, and business compliance, including responsible alcohol service guidelines, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Engage in financial goals with support from the General Manager
  • Employ good safety and sanitation practices, follow responsible alcohol service policies, and execute required daily reporting
  • Ensure team members adhere to Levy guidelines and execute all menu requirements and guest-specific service requests
  • Hold team accountable to steps of service to deliver great guest service and ensure team members have the tools necessary to complete their jobs
  • Use performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team members and promote a cooperative work climate
  • Conduct regularly scheduled meetings to ensure open communication between management and team members
  • Interview, hire, train, and develop team members according to Levy guidelines
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a food and beverage operational position
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management preferred
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Passion for hospitality, food, and retail
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
