Job Summary

Floor & Decor Holdings, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be the first and last point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet every customer in a helpful and courteous manner, connect with customers, and provide above-and-beyond service to exceed customer expectations.
  • Cash Handling: Process customers at checkout using the point-of-sale (POS) system, handle customer refunds and exchanges, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
  • Store Operations: Stock, tag, and display merchandise as required, create price tags and merchandise signs, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals, provide support during peak periods, and maintain a positive and productive store atmosphere.
Requirements
  • Age: Must be 18 years or older.
  • Math Skills: Basic math skills are required for accurate cash handling and processing.
  • Customer Service Experience: Previous customer service experience is preferred.
  • Travel: Potential travel to other stores for support may be required.
Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.

Physical/Sensory Requirements
  • Medium Work: Ability to exert 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
