Job Title: Family Therapist/Clinician

Mount Prospect Academy is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Therapist/Clinician to join our team. As a Family Therapist/Clinician, you will provide culturally sensitive, therapeutic services to students and their caregivers, utilizing formal counseling and Evidenced Based Practices (EBP) therapeutic techniques in various settings.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, behavioral support plans, and safety plans for students.
  • Provide individual and family therapy sessions, predominantly in the home or residential milieu, as needed.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure seamless delivery of services and achieve student goals.
  • Document all sessions and progress in the Kaleidacare system.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field.
  • Minimum 1.5 years of experience counseling adolescents and/or families, preferably in home-based or residential settings.
  • Experience with Evidenced Based Family Therapy modalities preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
