Family Therapist

Mount Prospect Academy is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Therapist/Clinician to join our team. As a Family Therapist/Clinician, you will provide culturally sensitive, therapeutic services to our students and their caregivers, utilizing evidence-based practices and formal counseling techniques.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for students and their families, incorporating evidence-based practices and formal counseling techniques.
- Provide individual and family therapy sessions, predominantly in the home or residential milieu, as needed.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure seamless delivery of services and achieve student goals.
- Monitor and evaluate client services delivery, making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Develop and maintain community, governmental, and public resources, and participate in professional organizations to stay current with best practices.
- Facilitate trainings for faculty on evidence-based family therapy modalities and crisis intervention.
- Support a trauma-informed approach within the milieu and home, utilizing Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) and the Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC) Framework.
- Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field.
- Minimum 1.5 years of experience counseling adolescents and/or families, preferably in home-based or residential settings.
- Experience with evidence-based family therapy modalities preferred but not required.
- Must complete background check.
