Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Technician to join our team at Avamere Hermiston. As a Medical Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications as prescribed by the attending physician, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide personalized care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities and updating service plans.
  • Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies, providing first aid assistance as needed.
  • Collaborate with caregivers to ensure seamless care delivery and support residents with daily tasks.
  • Document resident changes and complete reports in a timely manner, maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • First Aid & CPR Certification required within 30 days of employment.
  • Minimum one year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Food Handlers Card required within 30 days of employment.
  • Knowledge and experience caring for and interacting with elderly residents.
  • Ability to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination preferred.
