Job Summary

CDJR of Hermiston is seeking a skilled and dedicated Lube Technician to perform routine maintenance and lubrication services on customer vehicles.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine oil changes and filter replacements efficiently and accurately.
  • Check and top up fluid levels, including coolant, transmission, brake, and power steering fluids.
  • Inspect and replace vehicle air filters, windshield wipers, and other minor components as necessary.
  • Conduct tire rotations and basic tire repairs.
  • Perform general vehicle inspections to identify potential issues or safety concerns.
  • Keep detailed records of services performed, including parts used, fluids added, and vehicle condition.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and fellow technicians to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and techniques through ongoing training and development.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a lube technician or in a similar automotive maintenance role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of automotive lubricants, filters, and basic vehicle components.
  • Familiarity with maintenance and repair procedures for various vehicle makes and models.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
