Maintenance Technician

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at a food production facility in Hermiston, Oregon.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair packaging equipment to ensure optimal production levels.
- Perform general plant mechanical maintenance to prevent equipment downtime.
- Utilize PLC knowledge to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
- Apply electrical fundamentals and basic theory to maintain circuit breakers, motor control centers, and transformers.
- Work with high-voltage, 3-phase electricity to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Develop fabrication and design skills to create custom solutions.
- Replace motors, gearboxes, pumps, bearings, and belts as needed.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety programs.
This is a full-time position working inside a food processing facility with multiple shifts. Night shift options include Sunday-Thursday, sometimes Friday, or Monday-Friday, sometimes Saturday. The workload includes 10-15 hours of overtime weekly.
